Marrakech is one of the most popular tourist destinations for visitors from all over the world. In addition to its culinary specialities, the diversity of its landscapes and its extraordinary cultural wealth, there is a climate of peace. Moreover, the cost of living is relatively low and the hospitality of the Moroccan people is legendary. You plan to go there very soon, but are you wondering how to dress during the cold seasons? Discover here some answers!
The perfect period still appreciated for the holidays is February and March. In February, Marrakech is a correct destination. You have the sun for about 7 hours a day with several days of rain. Average temperatures range from 7°C to 21°C, but can drop to -3°C and rise to 32°C depending on the year. To dress in this period, you must have a jacket, neutral clothes, mid-length coats, a jacket, sneakers and windbreaker. Opt for sweaters and jackets in the morning, t-shirt at noon and sweater in the evenings. Because of the rainy days having a raincoat next door is advisable. You can also provide sandals at certain times of the day if the temperature allows.
Remember to bring with you jackets for the evening or sweaters. In the evening, the temperatures drop enormously, so you have to cover yourself. In the morning it is also relatively cool, so you should also cover yourself if you are going on a trip early.
The weather, of course, remains mild, with average temperatures around 10 to 24°C (or more depending on the region). At nightfall, the freshness resumes, more intense than ever. For these periods, it is best to wear warm outfits or dress in layers. The clothes to be favoured are the sweater, the thick pants or jeans, the coat, the jacket, the windbreaker, etc.
As a precaution against rains that may fall during these months, you can provide a jacket or sweatshirt. For materials, give priority to classic wool, cashmere wool or fleece. For your feet, choose sneakers or any other closed shoe that can protect you from the cold. During the day, wearing a t-shirt or shirt is always possible.
In general, it is best to avoid synthetic materials. It is best to avoid skirts and shorts that do not protect well from the sun as well as jeans and leggings that are too hot. Before any trip, we recommend testing your shoes to ensure their comfort.
Also think of taking with you jackets for the evening or sweaters. In the evening, temperatures drop enormously, so you have to cover yourself. In the morning it is also relatively cool, so you should also cover yourself if you are going on a trip early.
